Installation Instructions for the ActiveX Control

When you select the link to download the ActiveX Control, you are linking to an executable installation file called mathwrightweb.exe. You should be prompted to either Save this file to disk on your computer, or to Run from current location. If you choose to save the installation file, you will have to find it and open it using the Windows file browsing tools. Otherwise, if you Run from current location the installation process will begin immediately after the file is downloaded.

In either case, the installation process is self explanatory. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. It is recommended that you leave all the locations for installation files as they come up in the process. The simplest approach is simply to accept the license agreement, and then click next at every stage in the process.

After installation is complete, check that the Security Settings in your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser under Tools, Internet Options, Security for the Internet, Custom Level have:

• "Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins" set either to enable or prompt.
• "Initialize and Script ActiveX Controls not marked as safe" set either to enable or prompt.

That completes the installation process.
